Funding		In the United States, research has shown that most artists pursue their passion with very little outside help. They hold down multiple jobs, have limited access to health insurance and other “regular” job benefits, and do their own marketing and career strategizing. Because many artists work independently, they also lack workplace bargaining power, purchasing power, and access to networks. At CCI, we want to change that.

		In 2005, we launched a new program called Benefit Opportunities for Artists (BOA) that is designed to give artists access to group discounts on a wide range of equipment and office supplies, legal and financial services, dental coverage, and professional development programs and tools.
