By bringing together nearly 400 curators and guests for five days of tours, panels, discussions, networking, and professional development, AAMC & AAMC Foundation's Art Curators Conference advances our mission of supporting and promoting the work of curators within the changing art community’s dynamics.
The 2020 edition will be hosted in Seattle, Washington on May 2-6 and will focus on advancing the field beyond traditional and perceived thresholds and boundaries. Sessions will reconsider linear narratives, challenge concepts of borders, and investigate social and cross-cultural interactions. Events will be held at Seattle Art Museum, Asian Art Museum and Olympic Sculpture Park, and tours are planned at an additional 15+ sites.
