The Allied Media Conference is a biennial gathering curated with care by people making media for liberation: film, radio, zines,dance, technology, magic,and much more. Since AMC launched in 1999, it’s become home to thousands of participants, volunteers, presenters and coordinators.
Due to the current global pandemic, the AMC will not take place in-person this year. During the Year in Chrysalis, we were already exploring how to grow the virtual components of the AMC, in order to make the conference more accessible and do less harm to the environment. Now the virtual AMC is all we will have. Thank you to the nearly 500 people who completed the survey to help us shape the virtual AMC.
