Join California Lawyers for the Arts and our guests Sam Mazzeo and Olivia Casellini of A BETTER Professional Corporation for a workshop and conversation on contracting practices and navigating red flags. The workshop will overview differing perspectives on Intellectual Property between employers and artists, Ab5 classification, and the differences between a license and ownership or assignment. They will also provide some tips for artists and independent contractors for self-advocacy and negotiating IP.
